Paintings by Virginia Dehn and Poetry

Virginia Dehn was an American artist whose work was known for its interpretation of natural themes, many in abstract forms.  She exhibited in shows and galleries throughout the U.S. In conjunction with a gallery show of her work at the Bonham Creative Arts Center in Texas, a book including ten of her works, along with responses to them in poetry and prose, will be published in April, 2013.
I am pleased to announce my poem, Hours Alone has been selected as a companion piece to Virginia Dehn’s painting A Sacred Place for the above mentioned book about Virginia Dehn. Many thanks to Grayson Books and the Creative Arts Center for the honor of having a poem selected and associated with the Virginia Dehn publication.
